Street art: usually visual art developed in public space, more often than not it means unsanctioned art, but does not refer to territorial graffiti, vandalism or corporate art. Street artists aim to communicate with everyday people and want to question their existing environment with their language. Street art touches social relevant themes, using ways that follow esthetic values without blindly following them.
Street artists use many techniques, not just aerosol sprays. Some even say that street art is every unsanctioned art done in a public space that is not graffiti. It can come as posters, stickers, murals, mosaics, installation etc.
