Hum the first illumination of bones is based on a medieval one, what is it? Can you link it with all the infos please
Hi Pat, while you are right and the first painting of this series is based on an original medieval illuminated initial – the initial was a D and not a B though – I have to admit that I lost the info and can’t seem to place it anymore. It is, as it is to be expected, from a religious book like a Book of Hours and my guess is 15th century France, but that will not be much help I fear.
